This series contains lists of foreign corporations who do business in the state. Foreign corporations are those which do not originate in Alabama. Each foreign corporation was required to maintain a current address and name of an agent in the state. The Secretary of State was authorized to file this information and to keep an alphabetical list of the corporations.
